On December 14 at the Metropolitan Events Center, the AIE 2022 Annual Meeting – Impulsing Chilean Technology was held, an event that brought together businessmen, executives, academicians, officials and professionals from our electronics, power, automation sectors, communications and technology Were. country.
Hosted by TVN journalist Carla Zunino, the meeting had as its central concept the impulse that the electrical-electronic industry association, AIE, continues to develop to promote Chilean technology. The event was attended by the Minister of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation, Silvia Díaz Acosta, who was recognized for her contribution to Chilean technological development, and who issued a message to the more than 100 attendees at the event .: “Technological progress is an essential part of economic processes, affects the standard of living, allows the development of industry, on the one hand companies maximize their profits and consumers receive improvements in their goods and services.”
This means that Chile was recognized as the main innovative economy in the last year Latin America in the 2021 Global Index, which ranked Chile first in the continent and 53rd worldwide.
In a day of significant accolades, the AIE Awards – Chile Technology 2022 were distributed to: Best Innovation or Technological Development, which rewarded different solutions, especially the AC3E of USM in collaboration with the University of Talca in the Student category and HRA Ingenieros in the Chilean Technology category.
The activity culminated with the distribution of the AIE IEEE Awards – Outstanding Engineer 2022 in its fifteenth edition, which was presented to Victor Grimblatt, Vice President of AIE and Manager of Synopsis Company, on the occasion, where his career was highlighted.
