school bus accident | A horrific road accident took place in the state of Manipur on Wednesday morning. Two buses carrying school students met with an accident. 15 students died in this accident. Many were seriously injured.
If we go into detail.. the students of a school in Yaripok area had gone on an excursion in two buses. In this sequence, when they reached Bisnapur-Kaupum road in Noni district, the bus they were traveling in met with a road accident. In this accident, 15 students died on the spot.. More than 22 students were seriously injured. The injured were immediately taken to a local hospital for treatment. However, the reasons for the accident are yet to be ascertained. Locals believe that the incident took place when two buses collided with each other.
Manipur Chief Minister Birensingh has expressed grief over the road accident. He said SDRF, medical personnel and local MLA reached the spot and started the rescue operation. To this extent, video of the accident was posted on Twitter.
