On Tuesday, December 20, the Zakut Innovation Hub, a center for entrepreneurship, innovation and technology, promoted by the Zakut Association, held a “Pitch & Jutzpa International Edition” event, which selected seven start-ups, all of which have chosen. Their acceleration, presented their solutions to a panel of internationally renowned Israeli investors and experts.
Panelists invited by Zakoot join live from Israel and the UAE to learn firsthand about projects happening in our region and offer their vision and experience to entrepreneurs. The three guests are Ilan Satulman Starosa, a member of the boards of various international investment funds who has had a long career in the diplomatic corps of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israel’s first Consul General in Dubai; Ivo Fassianoff is a ‘Business Angel’ as well as co-founder and CEO of Velis Media Group and Alan Hoffman is the Israel Innovation Authority’s Director of Business Development for the US, Europe and Latin America.
After a brief presentation by each of the panelists, the round of pitches began, moderated by David Joel, Director of Investor Relations, Jakut.
The first presentation was made by Alberto Saldana, CEO of Cluest, an augmented reality content creation platform; Jose Miguel Morales, co-founder of Biovar, a cloud-based data analytics platform that helps companies adopt “data-driven growth”; 3rd place, presented by Jose Antonio Gutierrez, CEO of AgroAir Technology, a startup (R+D+I) in the agrotech sector; continued Juan Castajon, CEO of Invox Medical, voice recognition software for dictation and transcription of medical reports in real time. Subsequently, Raúl García Serapio, CEO of Neuromobile, an integrated DUC platform that connects the main economic agents of the city’s ecosystem, presented; Antonio Sanchez, CEO of Bemivega, a startup that provides technology to improve visual and auditory accessibility in educational environments, and finally Tomas Escudero, CEO of Slango, a startup that automates business processes through RPA and AI. is developing a cloud platform to
