A complaint has been lodged with Mumbai’s Sakinaka police against Deepika Padukone’s saffron outfit in the song ‘Besharam Rang’ from the film Pathan. The complaint has requested that a First Information Report (FIR) be registered against the producer, director, actor and actress of the film, news agency ANI reported on Saturday.

Union minister and BJP MP Giriraj Singh on Saturday challenged Pathan actor Shah Rukh Khan to make a film about Islam and the life of Prophet Muhammad, Times Now reported.
In response to the Pathan controversy, Singh said that if a Bollywood celebrity released a film about Islam and the Prophet, he would consider it secular. According to the report, according to Giriraj Singh, some Bollywood producers and actors make films to make fun of Hindus.

Meanwhile, a complaint petition has been filed before a court in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district, against Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone for “hurting the religious sentiments” of Hindus in the song ‘Besharam Rang’ from their upcoming film ‘Pathan’. A request was made to register an FIR for the same.
