Royal Air Force goes from zero to hero and wins CODE Bowl III

The CODE Bowl, also known as the Call of Duty Endowment Bowl, is an annual event presented by USAA. This year saw an incredible comeback from the Royal Air Force to clinch the first CODE Bowl title for the United Kingdom. The Call of Duty Endowment (CODE) Bowl III presented by USAA saw the Royale Air Force mount an unprecedented comeback within a hard-fought series. Call of Duty®: Warzone™ 2.0 battle royal match for the United Kingdom’s first ever CODE Bowl Championship. This team of Air Specialist (Class 1) Technicians Matthew “Matty” Ingham, Connor “icce” Fagan, Jamie “Unknown JWG” Griffith, and Corporal Culm “klzn” Johnson, along with impressive captains James “sprat” and Kamil “jafynk” Jaffer proved a force to be reckoned with in adverse conditions, winning the CODE Bowl trophy despite a slow first half of matches.

This humble start to their CODE Bowl title run saw them drop to last place overall with only eight points through two games. After halftime, the Royal Air Force looked like a completely different team, having scored almost 80 points from back-to-back high elimination matches.

“Unknown JWG” was named Service Member MVP of the tournament with 12 eliminations. Combined with 12 eliminations from “Spratt”, 17 total eliminations from “JaffaInc”, and a 1.5x multiplier for consecutive top-half finishes, Royal Air Force stormed the leaderboard, trailing champions Space Force Gaming and fellow Aviators Air Force Gaming did above Who won two out of four matches of the day.

Held adjacent to the Call of Duty League Major I event in Raleigh, North Carolina, CODE Bowl III allowed the reigning champions to compete against esports teams from all other US and UK military branches – the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Navy. Brought back the US Space Force. Air Force from the United Kingdom, as well as the US Army, Marine Corps Gaming, US Navy, US Air Force and Coast Guard. Each squad was led by two captains. The Royal Air Force won by earning 87.3 points from four matches, with Space Force Gaming coming second with 83.5 points, and Air Force Gaming third with 78.5 points despite winning two of the four matches. Achieved it.

Also in this program a Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Mobile Tournament, a showcase of military teams competing for fun in the game’s blitz royale mode during its limited release period.
