In the wake of increasing cases of COVID-19 in China, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that he has reviewed the situation of coronavirus in the country with experts and officials and added that COVID-19 is not over yet and he has taken all Instructions have been given to The concerned officials have been asked to remain on alert and strengthen vigilance.
“In view of rising cases of #Covid19 in some countries, reviewed the situation with experts and officials today. COVID is not over yet. I have directed all concerned to be vigilant and strengthen surveillance. We will Ready to manage.” he said.
With the US, South Korea and Brazil also reporting a rise in cases, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya chaired a meeting today to review the coronavirus situation in the country. Mandaviya on Tuesday wrote to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, asking them to ensure that Covid-19 guidelines are strictly followed during the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra.
It has been said in the letter that during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Kovid guidelines should be strictly followed and the use of mask-sanitizer should be implemented. It further mentions that only vaccinated people participate in the yatra. The Union Health Minister also requested that if it is not possible to follow the COVID-19 protocols, the Bharat Jodo Yatra may be postponed in the national interest keeping in view the public health emergency.
