Greg Popovich has attended induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame several times, always on stage to support someone.
Next year he can attend with another function.
Popovich, the winningest coach in the NBA and a former Hall of Fame inductee, is among the first inductees in the Class of 2023.

The presence of all four in the nomination pool was expected, but Popovich was a surprise, as it was never clarified when the Hall of Fame would consider him as a candidate.
“It’s going to be an incredible moment, I really am,” Nowitzki said. “After everything that has happened in recent years, it will be the best, with the messages and tributes given to me, and now together with the best of our games.

The other two stars of the Spurs’ so-called “Big 3” from that era – Tim Duncan and Argentine Manu Ginobili – are already members of the Hall of Fame.
