New Delhi: A woman was dragged, beaten and pushed into a cab by a man. A video clip recorded by a local on his mobile has gone viral on social media. This has come to the notice of the police and they are probing it. The incident is of the national capital Delhi. A woman was dragged away by a man on Mangolpuri flyover on Saturday night. He forced her into a private cab and assaulted her. Another person was also with the car. Later they left from there in that car.
Meanwhile, the video clip recorded by the locals on their mobile phones has gone viral on social media. Some people tagged this video clip and alerted the Delhi Police. The police immediately intervened. The private cab with yellow number plate was found registered in Gurugram, Haryana. The driver of that car was identified and details were collected from him. It was learned that two boys and a girl had booked a cab from Rohini to Vikaspuri area through Uber.
DCP Harendra Kumar Singh told that on the way there was an argument and a fight between the girl and the boy. He told that when the woman got out of the car, the person accompanying her forcibly pushed her into the car and thrashed her. He said that this video clip has come to his notice and he has taken it very seriously. It is learned that the police are trying to identify the woman and the two men.
