The meeting, which aimed to develop material related to phytosanitary application technologies through the use of drones and the importance of implementing Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), was held at the facilities of the School of Technical Education 4- 025, located in City of Los Corralitos, Department of Guamelen.
About 50 people gathered at the venue, including producers from the area and students who are in their final year of high school at this educational establishment. Alumni who have just completed their studies and who wanted to incorporate new knowledge also participated.
Juan Pablo Daruich, a reference for Casafe in Cuyo, was in charge of providing material related to the use of drones for the implementation of phytosanitary products, ultra-low volumes, quality of broth, elements of atmospheric measurement and quality of the application. among other subjects, which required about two hours of exposure.
The expert took advantage of the space to review the importance of the implementation of the so-called GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) in Mendoza’s agriculture. It is that the members of the Directorate of Agriculture presented and distributed a handbook for producers to implement GAP and achieve proper functioning of the activity through this fundamental tool.
“The aim of these initiatives was to interact with local producers, to find out how they are running their agricultural activities and to provide concrete tools for the correct use of agrochemicals, without any cost to the community applying them. mitigate any type of risk.
