>> Disappearance of little Emile: after two months of investigation, news that becomes a legal enigma
The search took place in a fire protection basin in Vernet, south of Haut-Vernet, franceinfo learned from the gendarmerie. “No new element” did not trigger this operation, which took place “as part of the continuity of the investigation”a week after the failure of excavations on a slab in the village of Haut-Vernet, according to the same source.
Little Emile disappeared more than two months ago in this town in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, while he was on vacation with his grandparents. After his disappearance, the searches brought together hundreds of anonymous people who came to help, without being able to find the child. The thirty houses in the village attached to the municipality of Vernet were also searched, the residents were questioned and their vehicles were visited, without success.
