On the night of Saturday, September 16 to Sunday, September 17, a dozen Sporting de Charleroi fans were attacked when they returned from Bruges, where they had gone to support their team. A commando of about fifty people hooded in red and white, according to the victims, among whom were women (including a pregnant woman) and children. One of them says: “The bus that brought us here had just left two minutes earlier when we heard people running towards us, out of nowhere! They wore hoods, red and white, Standard’s colors… All dressed in black, with gloves and brass knuckles.
