Ajax trembles at its foundations. For the second year in a row, Amsterdam residents are faced with unpleasant business. The club is once again linked to “questionable transfers”, NOS announced. Sports director Sven Mislintat is in great difficulty.
Ajax made many questionable and above all expensive transfers this summer, as also happened last year. Mislintat is suspected of having pocketed money during the transfer of Berno Sosa.
“This is a share transaction in Mislintat’s company Matchmetrics GmbH, a business data system for recruiting football players. He founded this company with four other people and the shares were divided equally. But five weeks after Mislintat arrived at Ajax, the status quo changed and the Ajax director became the largest shareholder with 35 percent,” NOS said.
“On this date, June 26, 2023, a German trust company also received shares in Matchmetrics, according to documents from the German commercial register. A notary in Bielefeld on that day formalized a construction in which the trust company AKA Global obtained shares of the company Mislintat”, adds the NOS.
“The football agency run by Arthur Beck and Kerim Cerit will see a loan of 161,000 euros converted into a 3% stake. In this way they will have a direct commercial relationship with Mislintat, the man they will meet again this summer in the framework of the transfer market.
A transfer worth eight million euros
“Mislintat spoke with Beck when he wanted to bring Russian midfielder Eduard Spertsyan to Ajax, but the negotiations failed due to controversy. With the transfer of left back Borna Sosa, Beck and Mislintat were able to shake hands in the last hours of the transfer Ventana Sosa signed for five years and arrived in Amsterdam for 8 million euros.
